Hey flaming aces. at this past plc meeting we had a discussion about being prepared to discus information at our stations. sorry for the really late notice but I was told to give all you guys a heads up for this weeks topic for the space stations. our topic is space transportation, so everybody try to contribute to the stations please.

hey everyone i just got back from the yearly planing meeting and here is a tentitive list of all of our planned campouts

-sep. biking

-jan. manatoc snow sports trip

-feb otter run

-mar. falling rock weebs crossover camp out

-apr. tar hollow

-may. DIBC in Canada!

-june. climbing that I am researching (please see me at meetings if you have recommendations)

-july. falling rock summer camp

-august white water rafting at ohiopyle PA!!!!

its going to be a blast this year

thanks everybody who came to Camp Falling Rock! everybody had a blast and earned soooo many merit badges. even though we tented away from the rest of the troop, it felt good not to get raided by raccoons! although it rained all week i think it was a big success for our patrol, and for  the rest of the troop to try a new camp. i'm especially proud of our younger scouts who faced obstacles and challenges (like spiders) to get through the week. I hope I see all of you at our next summer camp next year and on the next outing.      

Big thanks goes to everyone that helped at the wine and arts festival this weekend and also to everybody who have worked at merit-badges these past months. At this past court of honor we had many scouts advance in the ranks and earn merit badges and we hope to see more after summer camp. keep em comin!

if you weren't at thunderbase you missed out! there was lots of stuff to do like shooting, history stations, and even a worrier challenge. Not only that but there was a great concert by Dans new legs and one of the troops bands played. My favorite part was the shot gun shooting but the camp was the best over all. Here are some pics from the weekend if you have eney thing you would like to say put it on the website.

I am exited to go to thunder base.It is going to be a fun sunny weekend with a hi of 67 but there may be a short shower so pack for it.(don't forget your rain gear and a water bottle.) Also there will be a slipping slide 70 feet long with a 10 degree drop therefore pack a swim suit for the slide.To see more click the link below.
